Ericsson has announced the launch of Ericsson On-Demand, a transformative solution that delivers core network functions as a true software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for Communications Service Providers (CSPs). This next-gen solution introduces a new era in how CSPs deploy, manage, and scale their core network infrastructure—offering greater agility, reduced costs, and cloud-native flexibility.
Cloud-Native Core with Telecom Reliability
Developed in collaboration with Google Cloud, Ericsson On-Demand is built on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and leverages Google Cloud’s cutting-edge AI infrastructure. The platform is fully managed by Ericsson, including 24/7 Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), AI-driven lifecycle automation, and secure operations.
