Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – KAF Digital Bank has officially gone live on Temenos’ Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform as it prepares to launch its Islamic digital banking services. This move marks a significant milestone ahead of the bank’s full public rollout.
The implementation covers core banking, digital banking systems, payments, analytics, and data capabilities — all hosted securely on Microsoft Azure. With the system now operational, KAF Digital Bank has started onboarding early adopters in its Perintis (Pioneer) phase, giving select customers first access to its Shariah-compliant financial services.
KAF Digital Bank is one of five institutions awarded Malaysia’s coveted digital banking licenses in 2022. By leveraging Temenos SaaS technology, the bank aims to streamline operations and deliver smarter, simpler Islamic banking solutions tailored specifically for Malaysian consumers.
