GCC Exchange, in collaboration with Abhi, proudly celebrated International Labour Day on 2nd May 2026 at Bu Haleeba Holding Accommodation Camp No. 4.
The event was organized to honour the dedication, hard work, and valuable contributions of workers who play a vital role in building and supporting communities across the UAE. The celebration brought together senior management representatives, partner organizations, and workers from different accommodation camps for a memorable evening filled with appreciation and entertainment.
The programme featured a variety of cultural and entertainment activities, including music, dance performances, and interactive sessions that created an atmosphere of joy, unity, and togetherness. The event reflected the shared commitment of the organizers towards recognizing and celebrating the efforts of the workforce.
One of the key highlights of the evening was a special awareness session conducted by Sergeant Omar Muslim Aflatoon from the Dubai Police Traffic Department. During the session, participants were educated on the importance of cyber safety, online awareness, and responsible road behaviour. The informative session encouraged attendees to stay alert against cyber threats while also promoting road safety practices within the community.
Speaking about the initiative, representatives from GCC Exchange emphasized the importance of creating meaningful community engagement programmes that recognize workers’ contributions while also spreading awareness on important social and safety issues.
